In 2 weeks we (Judy & I, along with Kizmet the Cat) will be car tripping it over to the East Coast and hopping on the Appalachian Trail for a few months. We are not hiking the entire trail, only 500 or so of the 2200 miles of the trail. We are not starting at the southernmost point in Georgia or the finishing at the northernmost point in Maine. Instead we are starting more in the middle, hiking north for a while, then heading back south to continue hiking towards North Carolina. We will park it there for a spell while we hike some more of the Trail.
If asked what type of hikers we are I will respond “We are Flip-Floppin’, Leap-Froggin’, Section-Hikin’ Fools”. I think that sums it up.
